Saas-Fee is situated in the south of Switzerland and also accessible easily with public Transport. The holiday region lies conveniently just in the center of the international airports of Zurich, Geneva and Milan. At the entrance to the village Saas-Fee si a large parking garage with 3000 parking spaces located. Saas-Fee is the only car-free (holiday) resort in the Alps with direct Connection to public roads.

Visitors arriving by train at Visp change to the post bus with the direct destination
'Saas-Fee, Busterminal'. The bus journey lasts under one hour. On arrival at the
Busterminal, a free telephone call will enable our free hotel taxi to collect you and
transfer you to the Elite Alpine Lodge.
Taxis from Visp are also available and can be arranged by Elite Alpine Lodge.
Travel by car
Saas-Fee is the only car free resort that is actually reachable by car!
Visitors travelling by car from the north travel via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel
(car-train), from the east via the Furka pass (or car-train) and from the south via the
Simplon pass (or car-train). You reach the Saas Valley from the west of Switzerland
via Lausanne and through the Rhone valley to Visp.
After arriving at the undercover car park, a free telephone call will enable our free
hotel taxi to collect you and transfer you to the Elite Alpine Lodge. The modern
parking facilities are positioned at the village entrance. No reservation is necessary.
The Elite Alpine Lodge guests staying longer than 2 days will receive a reduction in
the parking fee by using their Saas-Fee Guest Card. This will also entitle them to
numerous further reductions within the resort.
By Air to Switzerland
All the major world airlines have regular scheduled flights to Geneva, Zurich or Basel. There are railway stations within the Swiss airports to make your connections to Saas-Fee easy and trouble free. From the airport you travel by train to Visp and change to the bus to Saas-Fee (Busterminal). The Swiss Transfer Ticket includes one free round trip to anywhere in Switzerland. The trip can either start at the Swiss border or at any Swiss airport. It is valid for one month. Each trip needs to be completed by the end of the day and has to be as direct as possible. The Swiss Travel System Family Card is issued at no cost to parents who wish to take along their children under the age of 16. Please note that at least one parent has to travel with the children.
